Might have blown a wire in the harness.
Let's hope not...
Many of the interior lights are run thru an interior fuse box by and behind the Glove-box - so grab your owners manual and locate your Fuses section and track down that section to see if you can find the interior lighting fuses - fuse so you can change it and and hope it did not blow a wire in the harnesses open - requiring replacement of the wire.
It can also affect HORN operation so if the HORN doesn't work - there is a 20A fuse in the main engine compartment that feeds the Body Control Module and HORN so check that one too...
To help others later...
The Fiesta year this one is, is called by some as the MK6 version of the FIESTA - so again, the upgrades from previous years also included their Fuses and location of them...
Let alone how they looked...
In the MK6 - the Fiesta had a MAIN Breakout box - or Engine Compartment Junction Box - which took the Battery power and broke it down into the wire feeds to various systems using a bracket/Fuse Mounting location at the battery.
Like this...
Engine junction box
Code:
FUSE Ampere rating Circuits protected
(Amps)
F1 N/A N/A
F2 N/A N/A
F3 N/A N/A
F4 40 Petrol / 50 Diesel AC and Cooling Fan
F5 60A Lighting and GEM
F6 60A Ignition Relay
F7 60A Engine and Lights
F8 60A Anti-Lock Braking (ABS)
Then you have to look into finding the Glove Box, and remove it's contents and pull the Door down past it's pinch point stops (they pinch inwards - you'll find them on the sides of the box itself) and expose the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box...
(Might) - Look like this...
This is where the main power to all the smaller feeders goes, with the main power breaking out and fused in the Engine bay...
This then goes into the realm of your Owners manual for they changed Fuse ID's even by the YEARS it (this model version) was made so your Manual is the CURRENT version of the fuses and their location and ID you have...per the year it was made.
