How many people felt that Ford would have marketed the new Fusion Sport better if they had called in the Fusion ST?

As an ST owner I don't think so. To me "ST" means more than just a badge or trim level. It means that the performance engineers on the Ford Special Vehicles Team designed, tested, and fine-tuned the vehicle. From what I've read the Fusion Sport is a great car but not an ST.

I think it was a marketing decision, the sport badge is more appealing to a wider variety of consumers versus the ST badge.
