I have noticed that my Fusion has no lighting to the side of the front headlights. The light bulb is surrounded by a can shroud that keeps any lighting from going to the side to help in turning corners. I have an F150 that provides enough lighting to light the turns at least enough to see the edge of the road. Is there a separate sidelight that I cannot find or may be burned out. I purchased this as a Certified Preowned with 23k on it so I have no idea if it should have lighting or not. If not, I would consider that a design flaw.

There's no side lights on the 2016 Fusion headlights. On the 2017 they come with dynamics LED lights that will swivel around corners.

Thanks for the reply to my query. I was afraid that was the case. Very poor design. I personally would consider it a safety issue. Disconcerting to turn where you can't see what you are turning onto.
