Cuts off after fuel up

I have a 2010 ford fusion... It has the strangest issue going on... When i pump gas no matter if its just 5 bucks or 40 bucks it sputters and dies out basically not wanting to turn on.. Any other times the car turns on with no issues .. Im at 123k and i do have the check engine light on throwing code p0456 (small evap leak) Can anyone help me out plz!

Its a common problem with the capless system. Ford's solution is to advise people not to top-off when filling their gas tanks.
